William G. Ostapchuk

William G. Ostapchuk age 86 passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on December 2, 2022. He was the beloved husband of the late Nancy for over 60 years. William was preceded in death by his parents, Krystna (nee Fisuk), Gregory Ostapchuk and his brother Walter Ostapchuk. He was the loving father of Christy Long, Lori Shookowsky and Karen Koresh (Nir). He was the sweetest Pop-pop to Victoria (Alex), Gregory, Rilee, William, Tom, Yona and Ariel. William was a US Army Veteran, an avid Phillies fan, enjoyed relaxing in the Poconos, but most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends.
Relatives and friends may greet his family on Tuesday, December 6, 2022, from 9:15 am until 9:50 am at St. Dominic Church, 8504 Frankford Avenue, Philadelphia PA 19136. His Mass of Christian Burial will follow Tuesday at 10:00 am. William will be laid to rest at Washington Crossing National Cemetery with military honors next to his wife on Friday, December 9, 2022, at 9:30 am.
