William Paulick Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Spangler Mortuary - Mountain View on Feb. 4, 2026.
William Winfield Paulick, of Mountain View, California, passed away peacefully on December 17, 2025, surrounded by family and a lifetime of love. Born on February 2, 1959, in New Haven, Connecticut to Eileen and Joseph Paulick Jr., Billy lived a life defined by family, hard work, and a lifelong passion for motorcycles. As a foreman in civil and marine engineering, he took immense pride in his craftsmanship, leaving a tangible legacy in the landmarks he helped build across the San Francisco Bay Area.

A man of remarkable grit, Billy was known for his unwavering dedication to his trade. However, his greatest achievement was the life he built with his high school sweetheart of 51 years, Kim Garvey Paulick. Billy is survived by Kim; his daughters and their husbands, Peyton and Jason Kochel, Kelley and Ekahi Casino, and Avery and Trevor Rogers; and his cherished grandchildren, Sloane, Kennedy, Landon, Elliot, and Maxwell; his brothers and their wives, Joseph Paulick III and Anne Saller, Edward and Gayle Paulick along with many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents and his brother John Paulick.

Billy lived a "good life" in the truest sense-one defined by long motorcycle rides, a cold Budweiser at Rossotti's, summers in New England, and friendships that spanned decades. More than any hobby, his greatest joy was his front-row seat to the lives of his family, watching his girls and grandkids grow up.

A private memorial was held at Spangler Mortuary in Mountain View California on Jan 23, 2026, followed by a celebration of his life at Sandhill Sundeck in Menlo Park, CA.
