Bill (AKA Billy) was born on March 16, 1937. He passed away suddenly on February 17, 2024 at the age of 86 years young.

Bill was preceded in death by his beautiful wife, Audrey Peters; his adoring parents, Rose and William Peters; and his “ride or die” sister, Mary Peters. He is survived by countless dear relatives and precious friends.

Bill graduated from Cretin High School in 1955 and afterwards procured a degree from the College of St. Thomas. Bill was a lifelong dedicated and loyal employee at Gilette in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Bill was an absolute “character” – his unique charisma was warmly regarded and embraced by all! He had a story for every situation! He was a compassionate and generous human ~ caring and loyal and always present with sage guidance.

Bill adored traveling and enjoying time with friends and family. Billy, Audrey and Mary enjoyed countless winters in Acapulco with lifelong comrades.

One of Bill’s most passionate accomplishments in his life was being a part of the St. Paul Winter Carnival. He was a proud member of the Vulcan Krewe of 1984. Just this month he celebrated his 40th Anniversary with fellow Krewe members! William J. Peters (Prince of Soot AKA Sooty) – “Last Whistle ~ February 17, 2024.”
