William C. “Bill” Richardson, 66, of New Diggings, Wisconsin, passed away Wednesday, August 20, 2025 at UW Health University Hospital, Madison, Wisconsin. A Celebration of Life honoring Bill will be held at a later date. Casey-McNett Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Cuba City, Wisconsin is assisting the family.
Bill was born on July 7, 1959 in Cuba City, Wisconsin, the son of Charles and Eunice (Beebe) Richardson. He graduated from Benton High School in 1977 and farmed for many years on the family farm. He enjoyed gardening and taking day trips to many area locations. Bill was a happy-go-lucky person who had a great sense of humor, loved to have a good time with family and friends, and never hesitated to help others. He confidently lived life on his own terms.
Bill is survived by five sisters, Margelyn Monahan, Belvidere, IL, Connie (Dan) Edge, Belleville, WI, Marsha (Jim) Parker, McFarland, WI, Bonita (John) Grell and Donna Richardson, both of Madison, Wisconsin; two aunts; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and close friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother-in-law, Don Monahan; and two uncles.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Bill’s name may be sent to Casey-McNett Funeral Home at 123 N. Jackson St., Cuba City, WI 53807
The family wishes to thank the staff and physicians of the UW Hospital TLC Unit for their care of Bill.
