William Charles Roach

William "Bud" Charles Roach of Redford, MI was born August 29, 1937 and passed away peacefully in his sleep on May 6, 2023.
After attending trade school, Bud served proudly in the National Guard before beginning his decades-long career at Joint Clutch & Gear working in sales and as a machinist for specially auto parts.
Bud's joy was his family. He was happily married to the love of his life, Ginny, for 63 years He was a Beloved father to three sons, Robert, Ron, and Randy (Phyllis). Proud Grandfather to Rachel (Lilly), Nick (Nicole), and Amanda. And will be greatly missed by his Great Grandchildren, Harper, Cole, Brock, Josie, and Leah. His son, Ron, and great grandson, Cole, preceded him in death. Bud is also survived by his brother Dave (Dusty) Boothe.
He had a passion for coaching Little League baseball, coaching his three sons, and then many more boys and girls on various baseball and softball teams in Redford. He loved traveling on his motorcycle, tent camping, and playing slots at the casino with Ginny. He was an avid gardener and was voted "Best Yard" by the Redford Township Beautification Commission.
Bud's fun-loving nature was always present with family and friends. He joked often and loved to bring a smile to the faces around him. Many wonderful memories were had sitting on the back deck enjoying company. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
A visitation will take place at Charles Step Funeral home on Friday May 19th from 2:30 to 6:00 with a Memorial service starting at 6:00.
