William E. "Billy" Rudd

William E. "Billy" Rudd, 68, of Chesterfield, passed away on July 1, 2024, in Richmond. He is preceded in death by his parents, Maxine Caudell and William H. Rudd; and brother, Jerry Rudd. He is survived by his loving wife, Catherine Rudd; sons, Robert Rudd (Amy), Paul Regan, Bruce Regan Jr.; daughter, Crystal Worrell (Allen); brother, Larry Rudd (Rose); sister, Louise Harris (Joseph); six grandkids, Brett, Monika, Connor, Jordan, Grace and Jackson; and two great-grandkids, Isabella and Leo. Billy is the kind of person who never met a stranger. He could instantly start up a conversation with almost any person he crossed paths with and was one of those people who would give you the shirt off his back. Billy loved anything related to motorcycles or hot rods, and for most of his life he was one of the best mechanics around. He loved working on vehicles and it seemed he could literally fix anything. He also loved wrestling, NASCAR and spending time with his family. He will be greatly missed by his loved ones.

Visitation for friends and family will be held Sunday, July 14, from 6 to 8 p.m., at Bliley's Funeral Home - Chippenham, 6900 Hull Street Road, Richmond, VA, 23224. A Memorial Service will be held at Bliley's Funeral Home - Chippenham, on Monday, July 15th, at 11 a.m., interment will follow in Dale Memorial Park, 10201 Newby's Bridge Rd., Chesterfield, VA, 23832. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Alzheimer's Association.
