William (Bill) A. Russett, 84 of Liberty Township, passed away on May 4, 2025. Born to Andrew and Marie (nee Furda) Russett on June 3, 1940, in Queens, New York.
First and foremost, Bill valued his family and always stressed the importance that family always comes first. He was a dedicated husband, beloved father, and grandfather to many.
Bill was passionate about sports, whether he was playing them or watching his Cleveland Browns. He even showed up to his grandchildren’s sporting events. He enjoyed them all. He cheered them on quite loudly from the sidelines and was extremely supportive.
Bill and Sharon were involved in raising, breeding and showing Lhasa Apsos for nearly 35 years. He was even a member of several Dogs Clubs and helped organize and run very successful Dog Show events. He held the title of an AKC Delegate.
In Bill’s later years he enjoyed driving and delivering cars across the country.
Preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Betty Steinocher and his nephew and godson, Dino Russetti.
Bill is survived by his beloved wife, Sharon Russett, children, Michael (Linda) Russett, Mark (Jacqui) Russett and Shelly (Craig) Kallach, grandchildren, Nathan, Anna, Nicholas, Anthony, Amanda, Andrea, Christopher and Hannah, great grandchildren, Gianna, Nora and Amariah and his two siblings, Andrew Russetti and Linda Coyne.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 24th from 10:00-11:30am with a prayer service at 11:30am all at Mueller Funeral Home, 6791 Tylersville Rd Mason, OH 45040. Luncheon to follow after prayer service on site.
Memorial donations may be made in his name to the American Heart Association.
