Patricia Ann Russett was born to Bessie Charlene Sherry Russo and Angelo Paul Russo on November 28, 1965, in San Antonio, Texas. She went to be with the Lord early Friday morning at 4:49 a.m. on May 30, 2025.
Patty devoted her life to her husband, daughter, grand-dog, family, and friends. She expressed her love most clearly through giving. Anyone who knew Patty knew she would truly give the shirt off her back to help someone she loved. Throughout her life, she worked as a right hand to many executive leaders, leaving a lasting impression in every role she held.
Her reputation in San Antonio earned her the moniker "Six Degrees of Patricia Russett," as it was nearly impossible to go more than a few connections without encountering someone she had profoundly influenced and left a lasting professional legacy with.
She is survived by her beloved husband, David Wayne Russett, with whom she shared ten beautiful years of marriage. Their union was one worth waiting for. By pure fate, David and Patty met online and quickly realized they had found their soulmates. Their love was loud-filled with laughter, singing, dancing, and deep passion. David was not only the love of her life but also her devoted caregiver, selflessly honoring their vows through sickness and health. Their love never wavered as they faced every challenge together.
Patty is also survived by her only daughter, Jessica Classy, and son-in-law Ryan Henarie. Her greatest accomplishment in life was being a mother. From a young age, she dreamed of motherhood and had already chosen Jessica's name long before she was born. The bond between Patty and Jessica transcends time and space, a connection of souls that will endure eternally. Patty raised her daughter with a deep sense of wonder-teaching her about the world through music, films, imagination, and hope. She instilled in Jessica the true meaning of unconditional and everlasting love.
She is also survived by her three siblings: Debra Lee and husband Richard; Michael Russo and wife Michelle; Sherry Ring and husband Douglas.
And by her nieces and nephews: Angela Schulmeier and wife Roxanne; Christopher Schulmeier and wife Beverly; Zack Ring, Jacob Ring, Isaac Ring, Dominick Ring, and Gemma Russo.
And her great-nieces and great-nephews: Zoey, Tyler, Travis, Noah, Johnny, Savannah, and Charlie Schulmeier.
Patty was the foundation of our family and the peacemaker in every hardship we ever encountered. She was an Extraordinary Wife, Mother, Sister, Aunt, "Lolli," and friend to many. She was never afraid to speak up for those in need or when she knew her voice needed to be heard. Her infectious laugh will echo in our hearts for years to come, and her light is unimaginable to extinguish. Her flame will forever burn in our hearts and in every universe.
Patty will be honored during a Celebration of Life with a Visitation on Monday, June 9, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. Both services will take place at Mission Park Funeral Chapels Medical Center, located at 8332 Fredericksburg Rd., San Antonio, TX 78229. Refreshments will be served. Graveside services will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery at approximately 1:45 p.m. Rev. Boots Levine will officiate.
