William Sage Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Nelson-Berna Funeral Home & Crematory of Rogers on Mar. 28, 2024.
William Lee Sage, 79, of Bentonville Arkansas passed from this world peacefully March 26, 2024, after battling cancer and lung complications, surrounded by his loving wife and children in Rogers, Arkansas. His departure leaves a legacy of leadership in kindness, care for others, and visionary faith.
Bill, as his family knew him, was born on July 27, 1944, in Monroe, Louisiana, to the late Thomas and Elaine Sage (Norris). During his life he moved all around the country before meeting and marrying his loving wife, Shirley, in southern California, with whom he shared over 53 years of devoted marriage. He will be deeply missed by his children, Brian Sage and his wife Michele of Centennial, Colorado, and Erin Kiefer and her husband Ben of Bentonville, Arkansas.
His grandchildren, Kyle Kiefer, Austin Kiefer and wife Alyssa, Thomas Kiefer and wife Lillyanna, Terry Sage, Liam Sage, and Drake Sage, and his great grandchildren, Renley, Hallie, and Sage were the joy of his life. Additionally, William was eagerly awaiting the arrival of another great-granddaughter, Livian May, who will join the family in the fall. William is survived by his brother Robert Sage and wife Debbie, as well as his sister Sue Ellen Simmons and husband Bill.
Bill, the founder and heart and soul of Assembled Products Corporation of Rogers, AR, poured his faith into every facet of the business. His leadership was guided by a profound belief and mission to further the Kingdom of God through care and compassion-not just for customers, but for every member of the company, nurturing a family-like atmosphere to produce products that make life better. He leaves behind a community of relatives and friends who will forever cherish the warmth, generosity, and creativity he shared with them.
A visitation to honor William's life will be held on Friday, March 29, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at Word of Life Church in Bentonville. Following the visitation, a funeral service will commence at 3:30 PM, offering an opportunity for family and friends to celebrate his life and share cherished memories together.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be given to the Northwest Arkansas Children's Shelter https://nwacs.org/donate/. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home of Rogers.

Shirley & family, We are ever so sorry to hear of Bill´s passing. We consider ourselves very blessed to have known Bill, if just alittle bit, yet grieved we won´t have a chance to get to know him better this side of heaven. But boy did heaven gain a wonderful servant, dedicated & faithful. . We´ll see Bill again as he & other angels excitedly grab our hands & run with us saying , "The Lord has prepared a place just for you!!!" What a day that will be
Our sincerest prayers are with you all,
Don & Michele (Myers) Greiner.
