William Russell Sauer, Jr., 50 of Kewanna, passed away on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 at home surrounded by family.
Born on August 21, 1974 in Knox, he was the son of William Russell Sauer, Sr. and Bonnie Lou (Williams) Sauer.
He was currently employed at Cabinetworks in Culver where he had worked for the last several years.
William enjoyed racing, fishing and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include his parents, William and Bonnie Sauer, Sr. of Kewanna, brothers, Christopher David Sauer and James Anthony Sauer (Teresa), sisters, Daphne Gilbert (friend, Mario), Cindy Williams (Dallas) and Tamaya Shidler (Mitchel), nephews, Ryan Hurlburt, Blaize Sauer and Jordan Shidler, nieces, Nicole Hurlburt, Kaitlynn Shidler, Kendra Williams and Alyssa Shidler, great nieces, Jaylynn Hurlburt and Aaliyah Baker and great nephew, Kingston Baker, uncle, Stephen Williams (Sheri), and aunts, Sally Spicer, Julia Sliter (Harvey), Dorothy Williams and Lily Haddix. He is also survived by numerous cousins and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Darwin and Mattie Williams, and Leonard and Helen Sauer, aunt, Sharon Schoff and many more aunts, uncles & cousins and brother-in-law, Daryl Gibert. He is also preceded by numerous other family members greeting Wilbur in Heaven.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, April 26, 2025 at Rans Funeral Homes & Crematory, Metzger Chapel, 123 E. Main St., Kewanna.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
Burial will be at Citizens I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Kewanna.
