Ronald Joseph “Ron” Sauer Jr. Age 51, of Edmond, Oklahoma, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, November 10, 2024, due to heart failure.

He was born on March 10, 1973, in Hays, Kansas to Ronald Joseph Sauer Sr. and LaDonna (Windholz) Linenberger. He married his high school sweetheart Tammi (Kippes) of 29 years on June 17, 1995, in Victoria, Kansas.

Ron received his Bachelor of Science in Construction Science from Kansas State University in 1997. He went on to pursue his passion for business and became the proud owner and operator of a sporting goods store in Oklahoma City.

Ron grew up in Victoria and was a 1992 graduate of Victoria High School.

A true outdoorsman, Ron had a passion for motorsports, hunting, and spending time at the lake with his family. He will be remembered for his generous spirit, unwavering work ethic, and the warmth he brought to all who knew him. Ron was a loving husband, father, son, and brother.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Tammi Sauer; and their children, Julia Johnson and husband, Chase; Mason Sauer; and his sister, Melissa Sauer.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents, Ronald Sauer, Sr. and La Donna Linenberger. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

A Mass of Christian burial will be at 9:00 A.M. Saturday, November 16, 2024, at The Basilica of St. Fidelis, 900 Cathedral Ave., Victoria, Kansas with Celebrant, Father James Moster O.F.M. Cap.

The family will receive friends from 8:00 to 9:00 A.M. Saturday, at The Basilica of St. Fidelis. A private family inurnment will follow at St Fidelis Cemetery in Victoria, Kansas.

The family suggests memorials to the Tammi Sauer family to be designated at a later time. 

Services are entrusted to Cline’s-Keithley Mortuary of Hays, 1919 East 22nd Street, Hays, Kansas 67601.
