Sam and I met 46 years ago. When I came to Panama City in 1978 I was in search of a hair stylist and I was introduced to "Mr. Sam" when he owned Styles By Sam. He not only became my stylist for 46 years but my best friend. I will miss you, my friend and look forward to seeing you again on the "other side". Your are and will remain in my heart and thoughts until we meet again. All my love. Patti Horton

Uncle Sammy enjoyed going on family outings, the beach, trips,he liked to travel. When we lived in Carrabelle, Uncle Sammy went to Sally's Beauty Supply in Tallahasse. He enjoyed my company and would often allow me to skip school and go with him. I really enjoyed spending that time with him. We would go to the mall and out for lunch. That was very pleasant memories. Uncle Sammy was a very out going person.I miss those times.

Sam and I had been friends for 41 years. I met him through my cousin in Panama City, Steve Etheridge. My partner and I visited Sam at his home when he had poodles so for the last almost 40 years, we´ve always had a poodle in the house because of Sam. I remember him fondly as he always had a smile and was laughing, joking and cutting up.we will miss you Sam.
