William Carroll Session (Bill), and affectionately known as Da; met his Lord and Savior on Friday, July 15th at home in the comfort of his recliner, surrounded by family.
He was born May 18, 1934 in Morrilton, Arkansas to Jacob William Session and Florida Mae Bryant Session.
August 21, 1952 he married his high school sweetheart, Beverly June Waller. They were married for 49 years before her passing. Together they had two children, Debra Kay and Tamara June.
In their early years, Bill served in the United States Air Force, then spent many years in the hospitality industry before becoming an agent for Shelter Insurance. After retirement, Bill spent many more years working for Searcy McEuen Funeral Home.
After the death of their daughter, Tammy in 1994, they raised her three children as their own. During that time they were active members of Cloverdale Church of Christ and became members of Searcy Band Parents Association, where they were known as "MeMe" and "Da" to so many.
Left to cherish his memory is his daughter, Debbie Likert (Frank), his grandchildren, Shelby McKee (Justin), Greg Vogel, Doug Vogel (Kristin), Sayward Alaman (Phillip), Frank Likert Jr. (Karly), Thomas Allen III (Becky), Tyler Likert, Beverly Kay Dias (Will), and Amanda Alverson (Chris). He had twenty-two great grandchildren and thirteen great-great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Session; his youngest daughter, Tammy; and his only brother, Charles Session.
Visitation will be Tuesday, July 19th from 6:00-8:00 PM (SHARP) at Searcy McEuen Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be Wednesday, July 20th at 10:00 AM in the Searcy McEuen Chapel with entombment following at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
