William Robert Shepherd, 81, of Vincent, Ohio, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on August 21, 2025. He was the son of James Emory Shepherd and Vaughn L. Stewart.
He was proceeded in death by his father, mother, and son Thomas. He was survived by his loving wife Janet and son Matthew of Paden City, WV, sister Janice (Ron) Bryant of Haines, FL, his twin brother James (Mary Lou) of Huntington, WV, and sister Susan Slider of Paden City, WV. He was cherished by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
He was a graduate of Paden City High School in 1962. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from West Liberty State College in 1995. He served as support pastor for many years for the United Methodist Church serving many churches in West Virginia. He retired from Bayer in 2007.
Burial services will be at the convenience of the family.
