William Herbert "Boob" Sims III

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of William H. Sims III, age 37, on November 10, 2024. Born on February 22, 1987, our brother William will be remembered for his unwavering loyalty to his family, creativity and strong spirit. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness and generosity that will continue to inspire us all. He was a devoted brother and son who always put family first. With his infectious laugh and is big kind heart (a gentle giant one would say) he brought about joy to all who knew him.
His journey took him through significant life events, mental challenges and complexities, but he managed to stay positive through it all.
His resilience and determination to live will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Survived by his siblings: Kealon, Harry, Koateia and Kreacha Sims, Late Nicholas, Claude (Ebone) Jones, VonShelia Sims-Smith, Rachel Sims-Delaney. Also survived by a host of other relatives and friends. A burial at sea memorial will be held in Galveston, TX on 11/23/2024.
