William "Bill" Patrick Snooks, 85, Savannah, Missouri, formerly of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away Friday, February 28, 2025.
He was born May 5, 1939 in St. Louis, Missouri to Richard and Jean (Murphy) Snooks.
An alumnus of Christian Brothers High School, Class of 1957, Bill carried the principles and values learned there throughout his life. He furthered his education at the University of Notre Dame, where he graduated in 1961 with a degree in accounting. A testament to his dedication to his trade, Bill had a distinguished career as a Certified Public Accountant, earning the respect of colleagues and clients.
Outside of work, Bill pursued a life filled with various interests. He enjoyed playing tennis, reading, and had a deep appreciation for history. His love and support for Notre Dame sports knew no bounds. Bill was also an active member of the Holy Family Parish, contributing to the community and enriching the lives of those around him.
He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Margie Sanders (Bob) and Richard Snooks.
Survivors include his sister, Mary Garvey (Bill); nieces and nephews, Robert Sanders (Julie), Dan Sanders (Michelle), Tim Garvey (Patty), John Garvey (Mary), Michael Sanders (Vicki), Jennifer Hausman (David), Michael Garvey (Taira), Aimee Hausman (Brett), and Doug Snooks; numerous great-nieces and nephews.
Private Memorial Mass of Christian Burial and Inurnment Horigan Chapel, Mount Olivet Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Cathedral of St. Joseph. Online guest book and obituary at www.meierhoffer.com.
