William, better known as Billy, Sprouse passed away the morning of October 16th, 2025. He was born on March 17th, 1944 in Maryland. He is preceded in death by his two daughters, Lisa Sprouse and Donna Sprouse. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Diane Sprouse, his daughter Lori Sprouse, his granddaughter Krystal Sprouse and her husband, Terence Thompson, their child- Billy's only great grandson- Kendrick William Cole Thompson, as well as Billy's brother, Dennis Sprouse. To his many friends and loved ones, Billy was always known for being kind, hardworking, loving, sensitive and patient.
For over 40 years, Billy was a dedicated truck driver with Prince William County, where he was known for being reliable, dedicated, and a genuine friend with the biggest heart. Billy was a soft spoken and caring person, always making sure the people he cared about felt heard and loved. Everyone who knew Billy knows what a joy it was to have him in their life, and what a privilege it was to be loved by him. He will be missed deeply, and his memory will be carried on through his loved ones and the love they share in his honor.
The family will be holding service at Mountcastle Turch Funeral Home and Crematory at 4143 Dale Blvd, Dale City, VA 22193 beginning at 12pm, followed by a burial at the Abel Family Cemetary, and a reception at the Dumfries/Triangle Fire Department Social Hall. Flowers can be accepted at Mountcastle Turch Funeral Home and Crematory, or in lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to one of the following non-profits that were dear to Billy's heart: National Foundation for Cancer Research (NFCR), Mended Hearts, National Kidney Foundation (NKF), or Susan G Komen for the Cure.
