On August 7, 2023, with his momma by his side, William Lloyd Taylor, 62, of Cabot, Arkansas, left this world for a better one. He was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on November 30, 1960, to William F. and Patsy C. Taylor.
Lloyd lived simply, needed little, and loved his people a lot. He was funny, quirky, and full of mischief. He loved people, loved getting visitors, and never met a person that he didn’t think was beautiful. He was happiest at McDonalds with his friends and family eating Big Macs and Hot Fudge Sundaes. His life reminded all that the simple things were the best things. He lived the last several years of his life in the Omega House, where he had numerous friends, was loved by all of the staff, and enjoyed all types of ‘classes’ at the Omega Center.
He is preceded in death by his father, William Taylor, his Daddy Dub, and his brothers Junior and David Taylor.
He is survived by his mother, Patsy Taylor; his brother, Dwayne Taylor, and his sisters; Amanda Picard and Rena Hightower; his daughter, Dianna Bricker; his grandchildren, Michael and Breanna Tripp; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family also wants to thank and recognize the care and love that Lloyd received while living at the Omega House directed by Kathy Gray. The Omega House staff made sure that no resident went unloved or forgotten.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00PM on Thursday, August 10, 2023, at Boyd Funeral Home, in Lonoke, Arkansas, with burial to follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00PM on Wednesday, August 9, 2023, at Boyd Funeral Home.
