William "Bill" Dennis Thomson, Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Monday, August 18, 2025.

He was born on July 19, 1950, in St. Louis, MO to the late Mark and Rosemary Thomson (nee: Mulcahy). Bill had reached the age of 75 years.

A great way to summarize Bill's life is: "Bill knew things and he fixed stuff".

Those who will remain grateful for having shared in Bill's life are his beloved wife, Cecilia Thomson (nee: Veras); his loving children, William "Billy" (Tracy) Thomson, Jean (Paul) Huelsmann, Michael Thomson, Judith Thomson, Mary (Steve) Taylor, Richard Thomson, and the late Patricia Thomson; his cherished grandchildren, Kitty, Aaron, Rachael, Amanda, Rick, James, Celia, Haley, Lane, Michael, Cynthia, Patty, Liam, Jaina, and Marcus; 8 cherished great-grandchildren, so far; his dear siblings, Raymond Thomson, Christine (Richard) Bielen, Patricia Evans, Kathleen (Rick) Allen, and Richard (Paula) Thomson; dear sisters in law, Barbara Thomson, Linda Thomson, and dear brother in law, Hans Dickes. Bill is preceded in death by his parents; one loving daughter, Patricia Thomson; dear siblings, James Thomson, Kenneth Thomson, and Rosemary Dickes, and dear brother in law, Vince Evans. He was a beloved husband, loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend of many.

A visitation for Bill will be held from 4:00pm - 8:00pm on Sunday, August 24, 2025 at Hutchens-Stygar Funeral & Cremation Center, 5987 Mid Rivers Mall Dr., St. Charles, MO 63304. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00am on Monday, August 25, 2025 at All Saints Catholic Church, St. Peters. Burial will follow in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.

Memorial donations are appreciated to the St. Vincent dePaul Society - All Saints Catholic Church in honor of Bill.
