In Loving Memory of William Tice "Bill"
Age 92 • Plainfield, Ohio • Sarasota, Florida

It is with great love and sadness that we share the passing of William Tice "Bill", age 92, who went home on October 10, 2025. Bill was born in Plainfield, Ohio, and peacefully passed away in Sarasota, Florida, surrounded by the love of his family.

Bill lived a long and meaningful life - one marked by hard work, kindness, and a feisty sense of humor that could light up a room. He spent his career as a dedicated tree trimmer, a job that reflected his love of the outdoors and his commitment to providing for his family. His hands told the story of a lifetime of honest work, and his heart told the story of a man who loved deeply and lived simply.

Bill had a quick wit and a sharp tongue in the best way - famous in the family for his one-line zingers and the kind of playful sarcasm that could make you laugh even when you didn't want to. He never missed a chance to crack a joke, deliver a clever remark, or keep everyone on their toes. That humor was one of his greatest gifts to the people he loved.

He leaves behind his beloved children: Deborah Lewis of Winter Haven, FL; Connie (Dan) Barstow of Sarasota, FL; Mark (Amanda) Tice of Ohio; and Leslie (Steve) Tice-Sanchez of Sarasota, FL.

He is also cherished by many grandchildren: Anissa (Mike) Billiter, James (Brittany) West, Madelynne Tice, Bailey (Dominic) Henry-Burroughs, Ryan Tice, Tori Tice, Michele Belliard (Luiz), Fred Davis Jr., and Timothy Davis.

Bill's love continues through his great-grandchildren: Brian Billiter, Kristin Billiter, Gabriel West, Rylee West, Jonathan McVey, Landen McVey, Benjamin Rosario, Joshua Scott, Gabriel Belliard, Timothy Davis Jr., and Kaitlynn Davis, as well as his great-great grandchildren (Kristin and Alex's children), who brought him endless joy and smiles.

Bill was preceded in death by his ex-wife Joyce Decker, his parents, and his siblings, all of whom welcomed him home with love.

He will be deeply missed by his extended family and many friends who loved him dearly. But his legacy of laughter, love, and those perfectly timed one-liners will live on in every story told about him.
