William T. "Bill" Timm

William "Bill" Thomas Timm, 85, of Watertown, passed away on October 14, 2023.
Bill was born on May 15, 1938, to Theodore R. Timm and Frieda Ann (nee Huebel) Timm. Bill honorably served in the US Navy from July 20, 1955, to April 28, 1959.
Bill began working at Johnson Controls where he met Dolores (Dee) Ann Joseph. The couple tied the knot on April 17, 1960, at St. Stephen's Lutheran Church in Concord, WI.
Bill dedicated over 40 years to Johnson Controls, offering his expertise in the maintenance department. On the day of his retirement, his 62nd birthday, he and Dee eagerly began a new chapter at their cherished North Woods cabin in Hatfield, WI. More than just a home, this cabin was Bill's sanctuary-an idyllic setting where he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and the surrounding wildlife. Bill also enjoyed old tractors and restored several. Following Dolores' passing on November 11, 2009, Bill moved back to Watertown to be closer to his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed his time at Briarwood Cottages with the rest of his senior community neighbors.
Bill's legacy lives on in his daughters, Cindy (Tim) Rupprecht and Laurie (Mark) Klecker, son, Dan (Stanna Kustief) Timm, all from Watertown; grandchildren, Cory (Kristy) Rupprecht and their children, Colby & Cooper; Kyle (Valerie) Rupprecht and their children, Kasper & Kristian; Jessie (Rob) Schroeder and their children, Aubrey & Bennett; Tanner (Casandra) Klecker and their son, Rennat; and Zachary (Sandy) Timm. He is also survived by sisters Patricia Schacker of Sun Prairie and Cathy (Eugene) Kaczor of Watertown; brother, Allen Timm of Watertown; sister-in-law, Carol Timm of Watertown as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his wife, parents, brother James Timm, sister-in-law Karen Timm, and brother-in-law Ralph Schacker.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at 1 p.m. at St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Watertown, with Rev. Anthony Schultz officiating. Friends and family are welcome for visitation starting at 11 a.m. until the time of the service. Kindly consider making a donation to Rainbow Hospice in memory of Bill.
