William Trice Obituary

William was born September 7, 1934 in Roe, Arkansas, to the late Matthew Trice and the late Pearl Montgomery Trice.
William attended Henderson State University and went on to pursue his master's degree from the University of Mississippi. He was a long-time employee of JCPenny prior to entering retirement. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend to so many people. His greatest joy in life was his family.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Martha Brazil Trice; daughter, Laura Leigh Greenberg (Daryl) of Fayetteville, GA; grandchildren: Brooks Cunningham (Michelle), Anna Anderson (Will), Kathryn Greenberg, and Elizabeth Greenberg; great grandchild: Jackson Cunningham. He is preceded in death by his sisters, Norma Trice Elkins and Francis Trice Barrett, and brother, John Robert 'Bobby' Trice.
A memorial service will be held Friday, February 9, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Fayetteville First United Methodist Church with Rev. Kaylen Short and Rev. Charles Robinson officiating.
Memorials can be made to Fayetteville First United Methodist Church, 175 E Lanier Ave, Fayetteville, GA 30214.

We still miss you Bill Trice. You were the best neighbor ever. Watch your speed and remember to change your lawn mower filter if it doesn't start. Until we meet again at the great neighborhood in the sky

Bill and Martha Trice are the best neighbors anyone could ever ask for.
I will miss talking with him in our backyards, his calls when the neighhood deer are raiding my fruit trees in the summer or when he requests my help when his lawnmower wouldn't start. God speed Bill Trice. We will be neighbors again eventually. "Watch out for the boogers on your journey"
