Yadkinville - William Lee Trivette, Jr., age 78, passed away at home on Tuesday, December 19, 2023. He was born May 7, 1945, in Iredell County to the late William Lee Trivette, Sr., and Minnie Weatherman Trivette.
William was a deacon and an active and faithful member of Forbush Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the US Army and was active in the VFW Post 10346 Honor Guard and the American Legion Post 336.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Michael Trivette, and Darrell Trivette; his nieces, Amanda Trivette and Amber Hudspeth; his in-laws, Parks and Nell Henderson; brothers-in-law, Johnny Henderson and Johnny Shore, and his nephew, John Wesley Shore.
Those left to cherish and honor his memory include his wife, Ramona Henderson Trivette, whom he married June 4, 1972; his sister, Mary Ellen Trivette; his nieces and nephews, Bradley, Trevor, and Evelyn Trivette; Katlyn and Jonathan Hudspeth; Kristie Trivette; Stacy, Lewana, Collin, and Aiden Bell; Stephen, Shanna, Haleigh, and Kendall Everhart; sisters-in-law, Judy Trivette and Debbie Trivette; brother-in-law, Jack Henderson (Ruth); sister-in-law, Carolyn H. Shore; nieces and nephews, Phil, Shelly, Blake, and Grant Henderson; Nicole Shore and Bradley Shore; Hope, Anthony, and Liam Abel; Isaac, Jacob, and Sammy Shore.
Pastor Justin Crouse will conduct a funeral service at 1:30 P.M. on Friday, December 22, 2023, at Forbush Baptist Church, 3917 Old US Hwy 421 E, Yadkinville, NC 27055. Burial will follow in the Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery, 5532 St. Paul Church Rd., Hamptonville, NC 27020, with full military honors by VFW Post 10346 Honor Guard, Chaplain Ricky Johnson, and Pastor Justin Crouse.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, December 21, 2023, at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville.
Pallbearers: Bradley Trivette, Trevor Trivette, Jonathan Hudspeth, Steven Everhart, Phil Henderson, and Sammy Shore.
Honorary Pallbearers: Blake Henderson, Grant Henderson, Jacob Shore, Isaac Shore, Anthony Abel, Liam Abel, Stephen Everhart, Stacy Bell, Collin Bell, and Aiden Bell.
