Trivette
East Bend - Mrs. Nancy Marie Miller Trivette, 83, of Odell Lane passed away peacefully Monday, February 23, 2026 at her home. She was born March 14, 1942 in Yadkin County to the late Lloyd Seaford and Minnie Lee Dixon Miller. Mrs. Trivette was a member of Davie Baptist Church and attended as long as her health permitted. She lived her life in service to others as a private duty caregiver to several individuals throughout the area. Her greatest joy was taking care of all of her grandchildren as they were growing up. She loved spending time with them drawing, doing other artwork, and working in her flowers outside. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Elmer James “Jay” Trivette; her son, Randy James Trivette; her sister, Hazel Jones; and brothers, James Miller, Bobby Ray Miller, Darrell Gray Miller, and Herbert Miller. Surviving are her loving children, Kathy (Johnny) Hardee, Judy (Juan) Gonzalez, Linda Kay (Ray) Hart, Tina (Jason) Shouse; grandchildren, Reuben Gonzalez, Rick Trivette, Christina Crowley, Chris Gonzalez, Victoria Weatherman, Samuel Shouse, Kayla Carlton, Brianna Hardee, Ryan Hardee, “Lil Bit”, “Sissy”, and “Grayson”; her great-grandchildren, Jaxson Crowley, Jordan Crowley, Elly Weatherman, Emery Weatherman, Korbyn Weatherman, Sadie Voller, Noah Newton, Lucy White, Luke Shouse, Allison Shouse, Matthew Carleton, and Alexandrea Carleton. The family will receive friends from 1:00-1:30 PM Friday at Gentry Family Funeral Service in Yadkinville. A Graveside Service will follow the visitation at 2:00 PM Friday in Yadkin Memorial Gardens by Rev. Chris Hauser and Rick Trivette. The family would also like to express their gratitude for Ray’s care through the years of helping with Nancy and Jay, and a special thank you to their cousins, Debbie Hutchens, Patty Weaver, and Donald Jones for all of their prayers and support given for Nancy. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to either South Oak Ridge Baptist Church or to Mountain Valley Hospice.
