William P. Tyson

William Phillip Tyson, known as "Huck or Tyson," was the beloved son of Margaret Janiece Tyson and the late William Lester Tyson. He was born on March 23, 1950, in Baltimore, Maryland, and departed this life on September 6, 2025.
William received his education in the Baltimore City Public Schools. During his childhood, he spent a brief period in elementary school in France while his father served in the Army. He was employed at BGE, Domino Sugar Company, Coca-Cola, and Model City Sanitation, earning the respect of his colleagues through his work ethic.
His most significant achievement was as an entrepreneur and business owner. William founded 3W Cleaning Service LLC, which he operated for over 25 years. His commitment to excellence and his clients made his business a respected name in the community.
On July 18, 2003, William married his devoted partner of 38 years, Helen Roney-Tyson, in Baltimore, Maryland.
William enjoyed bike riding and practiced karate, always seeking new ways to stay active. He loved watching classic television shows and movies, finding joy in the stories. Bowling was a favorite pastime, and he bowled in a league for over 30 years, forming lasting friendships along the way. Above all, William's greatest passion was dancing-he commanded the dance floor at every event, captivating everyone with his energy, rhythm, and infectious joy.
William was loved by everyone he encountered and was always warm and welcoming. He cherished spending time with his family and touched the lives of all who knew him with his kindness, generosity, and support. His legacy will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, and he will be deeply missed by all.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory, his wife Helen Roney-Tyson, his mother, Margaret Janiece Tyson, his father William Lester Tyson who proceeded him in death, his devoted children William Jerome Tyson (Tanieka), Kirt Tyson, Wanda Dickens (Milton Son in Law), Rhonda Bailey, four sisters; Deborah, Carolyn, Basimah (Sayyid) and Darlene, four brothers; Ricky (Loretta), Clarence (Marva), Linwood and Patrick who preceded him in death, thirteen grandchildren, Briana Tyson, Keon Tyson, India Tyson, Samaya Tyson, Tiffaney Perry, Kristian Golphin, Kasey Golphin, Glenn Howe, Jr., Latanya Howe, Darin Davis, Bryttani Wilkes (Justin), Tiffany Dorsey, Tonia Ross (Desmond), Sixteen greatgrandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends to many to name.
