William Howard Waltman, age 66 of Dunlap TN passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at his residence. He was a Veteran of the US Navy having served during the Vietnam War. He was an examiner for the US Coast Guard. He was a loving son, husband, brother, uncle, stepfather and grandfather. He was a kind, loving, loyal and God fearing man who would help anyone in their time of need.
He was preceded in death by his father, Herman Waltman, Sr.; sister, Connie Edmonds; nephew, Glen Edmonds; aunt, Loretta Clements; grandparents, Cyrus and Emily Rogers.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Kathleen March Waltman; mother, Velma Belanger; children, Justin Smith, Stephen (Stephanie) Easley, Jeremy March and Stephanie Nugent; his godchildren, LJ, Kayleigh Ray and Michael; siblings, Sheila Fabian, Joe Nell Waltman and Herman Waltman, Jr.; brother -in - law and best friend, David March; grandchildren, Leo, Dillan, Eleanora, Barrett and Lydia along with several nieces, nephews and a host of other extended family members and friends.
No visitation will be held as it was Mr. Waltman's wishes to be cremated. Burial will take place Friday, June 13, 2025 at 10:00 AM (central time) in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
