William James Wilson, affectionately known as Bill, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away on November 3, 2025, in Trenton, Michigan, at the age of 83. Born on December 27, 1941, in Toledo, Ohio, Bill lived a life marked by faith in God, kindness, and selflessness.

Bill was a man of deep faith in God, integrity, and commitment. He loved serving others and showing them how to know Jesus as their Savior. His generous spirit touched the lives of all who knew him. He was known for his unwavering kindness and his readiness to help others, always putting the needs of those around him before his own. His selfless nature was a testament to his character and left a lasting impact on his family and friends.

Bill shared 61 wonderful years of marriage with his devoted wife, Barbara Wilson. Together, they built a loving family that includes their two sons, William C. (Karen) Wilson and Gregory J. (Melissa) Wilson. Bill was a proud grandfather to five grandchildren: Megan (Colin) Horton, Abigail (Tim) Walters, Katherine (Tad) Davis, William R. (Tara) Wilson, and Annette Wilson. He also cherished his role as a great-grandfather to Cameron Walters and Michael Horton.

Bill is survived by his brother, David (Catherine) Wilson, and his sister, Martha (Tim) Hillen. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Annette Wilson, and his sister, JoAnn Gilmore.
