William "Billy" Wisnosky, a joyful soul who brought light and laughter to everyone he met, passed away peacefully at his home in Parsippany on Saturday, September 20, 2025.
Born in Passaic, New Jersey, Billy spent his life in various towns throughout the state before finding his home and extended family with Avidd Community Services in 1987 with whom he continued to reside until his passing. For many years, he was a proud and dedicated participant in the ARC of Morris day program, where he built meaningful friendships and shared his incredible spirit with everyone around him.
Billy was truly the life of the party. He loved being around people, and nothing made him happier than a delicious piece of cake, good music, a lively room, and a chance to share his infectious smile and unmistakable laugh. Billy adored helping others acknowledge their milestones, particularly birthdays and would make sure that those around him celebrated accordingly. To know Billy was to be blessed. His warmth, joy, and genuine love of life touched everyone who had the honor of knowing him.
He was pre-deceased by his parents, Walter E. and Audrey Wisnosly and his sister, Mrya who passed away in 2001.
He is survived by his loving sister, Linda Astorino, and her husband, Howard; his identical twin brother, Walter E. Wisnosky Jr.; and his younger brother, Robert Wisnosky Fiorito. Billy also leaves behind his cherished nieces and nephews: Kevin Wisnosky, Stephanie Werner, and Ryan Fiorito; along with two great-nieces and five great-nephews, all of whom adored their Uncle Billy; Billy is also survived by his 'family' and friends from his Avidd Community and the ARC of Morris.
Billy's presence will be deeply missed, but his joyful spirit and the love he shared will live on in the hearts of his family, friends, and everyone lucky enough to have known him.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his VIsitation on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. with his Funeral Service to be offered at 12:15p.m. at the Par-Troy Funeral Home. 95 Parsippany Road, Parsippany.
