William Thomas "Tommy" Woods, age 53, passed away November 21, 2023, at his home in Monticello, AR. He was born January 14, 1970, in Helena, AR, to Richard O'Neal Woods and Linda Ann Moore Kemp. Tommy was a jack of all trades and could do anything he put his mind to. He regularly attended Second Baptist Church with his daughter and her family. He loved to be outdoors whether it was fishing, hunting, or riding his motorcycle. He was a great mechanic who could fix anything large or small. Tommy loved woodworking and raising a garden. He loved spending time with his family the most.
Tommy was preceded in death by his sister, Rebecca Socia; step-father, Gene Kemp; grandparents, TK and Mary Beth Woods, and Robert and Lucille Moore; and grandfather to his daughter, Norman Chadwick.
He is survived by his parents; his daughter, Haley Chambliss and husband Keith; two grandchildren, London Davis and Luke Chambliss; half brothers, Aaron Woods, Forrest Woods, and Richard Woods; aunts and uncles, Joe and Peggy Moore, Wanda Davis, and Sandra and Steve Allsup; brother in law, Curt Socia; niece, Jordan Nolan and husband Adam; as well as numerous cousins, family, and friends.
Visitaiton will be Friday, November 24, 2023 from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. in the Stephenson-Dearman Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 3:00 p.m. Burial will be in Ladelle Cemetery, Ladelle, AR.
