William Phillip Woyak, 78, of South Whitley, Indiana and previously of Fulton and Grand View, Wisconsin, passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2025, in Columbia City, Indiana. Born May 26, 1947, in Burlington, Wisconsin he was the son of the late Louis and Bernice (Schneider) Woyak.
After attending Burlington High School, Bill spent his adult career as a maintenance man for many years while living in Wisconsin. On August 8, 1998, he married Judith (Ortman) Hyland. Twenty-one years later in 2019 they moved to Whitley County, Indiana where Judy's daughter and granddaughter lived.
Bill loved spending time outdoors, camping, and hiking when he was younger. He had a great love for reading and enjoyed Italian ice and reading with his kids. Bill also had a passion for music, fishing, and whittling wood creations. Aside from reading SciFi books, Bill was fond of SciFi movies and he and Judy enjoyed watching Mountain Men together. Bill will be remembered for being quick witted and he is loved by all.
Bill is survived by his wife, Judy Woyak; sons, Shawn (Shannon) Woyak, Jason (Jill) Woyak; stepchildren, Jackie (Doug) Brown, Jim Hyland and Jeff Iverson; grandchildren, Arian Geary, Khavy (Samantha) Vath, Tali Geary, Eanna Geary, Lily Woyak, Evelyn Woyak, Niki (Ben) Anderson; great-grandchildren, Eli, Adaley, Rocky, Arianna, Madelyn, and Raegan; siblings, Donna (Wayne) Volbrecht, Vic (Judy) Woyak, Sharon Northcutt, Elaine (Charlie) Johns, Rita (Daryl) Bertolino, Jean (Ed) McKnight and Lori (Tim) Merrill. Along with his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his siblings, Marian Robers and Lois Immerfall.
Memorial services will be held in the spring of 2026 in Fulton, Wisconsin at Fulton Church, 9209 N Fulton St, Edgerton, WI 53534.
