William (Bill) Warren Wright, 54, passed December 27th at 6:54 AM. William was born on July 26,1970 to Gary Wright and Janet Warner in Oil City, Pennsylvania.
Bill served with distinction, honor and courage in the United States Army as a combat medic for six years; during his time in Desert Storm and Shield running into chaos where others sought safety. Under the sands of war he stitched together not only bodies but the threads of hope and humanity. he was a healer, protector and brother in every sense of the word.
Life to Bill was not just about about service but also about adventure. He loved to travel and was excited for the adventures of the future. He was passionate for survival games a reflection of his resourcefulness and grit. Life to him was the greatest survival game of them all. It was one he played selflessly. Facing virtual challenges and real life hardships he was always ready to face the unknown adapting and overcoming any obstacles that lied in his way.
One might say he lost his battle with stage 4 head and neck cancer. However, Bill fought his battles, healed his wounds and is now at peace. He is preceded in death by his mother Janet Warner(Beers) her parents Harold and Donna Warner, along with is paternal grandparents Walter and Jean Wright, his stepmother Sharon Wright.
He is survived by his loving family; Holly Wright their daughter Kiersten Wright, his son William Huff, His father Gary Wright, His sister Heather, her children his niece Trinity and nephew Tyler and all his loving friends. Bill had a way to make you feel like family even though you weren't blood.
