A visitation for William "Terry" Wright, 71, formerly of Wills Point, TX, is scheduled for 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at Hiett's LyBrand Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held at 12:00 PM at White Rose Cemetery.
Terry passed away on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, in Bossier City, LA.
William Terry Wright was born on November 21, 1953, in Terrell, TX, to William Benjamin Wright, Jr. and Anna Jean Curtis Wright. He was raised in Wills Point and graduated from Wills Point High School in 1972.
Terry married Linda Scholz on July 16, 1988, in Dallas, and the couple began their lives in Dallas before moving to several locations in the states throughout the years before settling in Bossier City, LA, in 2011. Terry held numerous management positions over his career, most recently serving as the general manager of operations at a manufacturing company, retiring in May 2025.
He grew up attending Russell Memorial United Methodist Church in Wills Point. Terry was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and especially enjoyed golfing. One of the highlights of his life was attending a Super Bowl game. He will be remembered as a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend to all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ben and Anna Jean Curtis Wright, and his brother, Carl Michael Wright.
Terry is survived by his wife, Linda Wright of Bossier City, LA; daughters, Jessica Dye of Elizabeth, CO, and Erica Kinsella and husband Andrew of Rogers, AR; brother, Brian Wright and wife Jolene of Forney, TX; grandchildren, Ava Kinsella and Eve Kinsella; and nephews, Shannon Wright, Wade Wright, and Brad Wright.
