William Richard Ziemnik, 64 of Lodi, OH passed away Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at Fairview Hospital following a period of declining health.
He was born April 8, 1957 in Cleveland to Joseph Sr. and Dolores (Kaczmarski) Ziemnik.
Bill grew up in Parma where he graduated from Normandy High School in 1975.
He retired from Medina Supply where he began working just after high school.
Bill had an adventurous streak, living life to the fullest while making memories that will be cherished by all who knew him.
He enjoyed time on his pontoon boat at Pleasant Hill Lake. He also enjoyed attending concerts, snowmobiling, and motorcycling, his favorite quote being "Ride baby ride".
He is survived by his daughter, Nicole Ziemnik and her husband Erich Ross of Wadsworth;
life partner, Charry Parrish;
sisters, Marol Lynn (William) Taylor of Medina,
Christine (Gerard) Vilt of Charleston, SC;
brothers, Joseph, Jr. (Kristine) Ziemnik of Chippewa Lake,
Richard Ziemnik of North Ridgeville,
Michael (Darlene) Ziemnik of North Royalton
and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister-in-law, Linda Ziemnik.
Visitation will be at Parker Funeral Home, 210 Medina St., Lodi on Tuesday, Feb. 1, from 5:00 - 8:00 PM and Wednesday, Feb. 2, from 11:00 AM - 12:00 noon, with the funeral service following at 12:00 noon.
If desired, memorial contributions may be made in his name to either The Diabetes, Kidney, or Heart Funds, or Lifebanc.
