William C. Zitzow, (Bill), age 87, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, February 18, 2025.

Bill is survived by the love of his life and devoted wife of 68 years, Barbara Zitzow, his beloved daughter, Karen Zitzow, Ottsville, PA, his four beloved grandsons, Bernie Sousa and his wife Lauren, Ambler, PA, Mark William Zitzow, Oklahoma City, OKC, Michael Sousa and his wife Sarah, Sellersville, PA, and Nick Zitzow, Houston, TX, and 4 great granddaughters, who were his pride and joy, Lyla, Grace, Everly and Riley. Bill is predeceased by his dear son, William C. Zitzow, Jr. (Billy) and his precious granddaughter, Kyleigh Sousa.

Bill met Barbara when she was 13 years old and he was 14. They have spent 73 years of life together. Bill and Barbara lived in Winfield Park, NJ, where they raised their 3 children. Bill was an active member of the community where he became a police officer, fireman and eventually Mayor of the Township. Bill organized and ran the Winfield Park Fireman's Carnival for many years. He was well loved by the entire community.

When Bill retired he built a log cabin in Pennsylvania where he and Barbara lived for several years. There he became a member of the Binghamton Elk and eventually became District Deputy Grand Exalted Ruler New York - South Central District.

Eventually, Bill and Barbara found their way to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, where they resided until his passing. He was an active member of the Album Quail Springs community where he participated in calling bingo games for the residents and delivering meals to those residents unable to get out. Even during the most difficult days of his illness, Bill had a smile and a kind, cheerful word for everyone. He was well loved by his Album community.

Bill enjoyed the outdoors. He especially liked hunting, fishing and golfing. He was incredibly intelligent and loved anything technical, especially his cell phone and computers.

A private christian burial will be held Monday, February 24, 2025, at Spring Creek Cemetery.
