To God Be The Glory

Willie Emory Brooks Jr., 74 years old of Phoenix, AZ, peacefully passed away on March 11, 2025. Willie was born on August 15, 1950 in Tampa, FL to his parents Willie Brooks Sr. and Virginia Robinson.

Willie is now reunited with his beloved wife in Heaven, Bessie May Brooks, who passed away just 3 years prior. Willie honorably served in the United States Air Force, where he met the love of his life, Bessie. After 5 years of courtship, they finally married on October 8, 1983. Together in 1992, Willie and Bessie moved to Phoenix, AZ, and lived lives driven by faith as members of the First Institutional Baptist Church. They were blessed to enjoy 38 years of marriage, and it comforts their family to know that they are now dancing together in God's Kingdom of Heaven.

Willie was a lifelong learner, and lived by his motto "Learn something new everyday" to the fullest. He was also guided by his favorite quote: "Chance or fortune favors the prepared mind" - Louis Pasteur. The love and wisdom that he lived his life by was admired by all who were blessed to know him.

Willie Emory Brooks Jr. leaves a legacy of hard work, faith driven, and good morals to his children, grandchildren, and great children that survive him. He is survived by his children Marshall & Mary Randolph of Dallas, TX, Michael E. Randolph Sr. of San Bernardino, CA, Debora A. Randolph-Roulette of Woodinville, WA, Elizabeth A. & Michael Hollinquest of Fresno, CA, Anthony & Debra McGill of Casa Grande, AZ, Timothy & Marilee McGill of Winnipeg Manitoba, Canada, and Jacqueline McGill of Phoenix, AZ. Willie also leaves behind 21 Grandchildren, 23 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great-Great Grandchild and a host of nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.
