He was a guiding force in the lives of his children, Ronnie Dixon of Lafayette, LA, Valarie (Frederick) Richardson, and Oretha (Bobby) Townsend, both of Dothan, Alabama. Sug's legacy continued to flourish through his seven grandchildren, Ronnie Dixon, Tyniqua Dixon of Georgia, Dashawn Carter, Oretha (William) Potter, Ebony White, O'Nia Richardson, and Omarion Townsend, all of whom he adored and inspired with his wisdom and love.
Sug's sister, Vivian Reading of Dothan, Alabama, was not just a sibling but a devoted friend with whom he shared an unbreakable bond. His life was further enriched by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, each of whom held a special place in his heart.
