Willie Dobey Obituary
Mr. Dobey, a native of Edgefield County, was a member of Science Hill Missionary Baptist Church and was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
Survivors include two daughters, Devina Patten of Edgefield, SC and Lakeisha Turner of North Augusta, SC; two sons, Derwin Patten of Edgefield, SC and Jarvis Robinson of McCormick, SC; his mother, Alice Dobey of Edgefield, SC; two sisters, Patricia Jackson of Petersburg, VA and Dianne Dobey of Hephzibah, GA; one brother, Jimmy Dobey of Johnston, SC; six grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, November 24, 2025 at Science Hill Missionary Baptist Church where the Rev. Lorenzo Williams is the pastor and the Rev. Henry Curry, Jr. eulogist. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Viewing will be held from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
Professional Services are under the care of G. L. Brightharp & Sons Mortuary-Edgefield.
