Willie Easter

Willie Neal Easter, 64, passed away on Monday, September 22, 2025 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo.  He was born in Sulligent, Alabama on November 10, 1960 to the late Charlie and Annie Kay Thompson Easter.  Willie was a graduate of Vernon High School.  In his earlier years he worked as a springer in the area furniture industry.  Later on Willie enjoyed buying cars and trucks, fixing them up and selling them.  He enjoyed time with family and friends.  Willie didn't like to sit in one place long and was happy being on the open road riding his motorcycle.  He enjoyed a good seafood meal in the company of family and friends.

Willie is survived by his son, Christopher Easter, Aberdeen; daughters, Angel Easter, MI, Samantha Easter, MI, Danielle Easter, AL and Hailey Easter, Becker; sisters, Faye Tate (Dennis), Pauline Kell, Bernice Wouldridge (Lanny) and Patricia Dean (Phillip); brothers, Charles, Thomas, Carlos and David Easter; 15 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

In addition to his parents, Willie is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Elizabeth Easter; siblings, Bobby, Clayton, Lewis and Johnny Easter.

A memorial service will be held at 2 PM on Friday, September 26, 2025 at Cleveland Moffett Funeral Home in Amory with Pastor Rick Myers officiating.

Visitation will be prior to the service on Friday from 1 PM until 2 PM.
