Willie Clyde Elliott

Willie Clyde Elliott was born on January 24, 1948, in Camden, Arkansas to Louie and Marcelene Jones Elliott. He joined the Mt. Gillard Baptist Church at an early age. He attended Lafayette High School. He joined Job Corps on February 18, 1967, and worked at Conagra Poultry in El Dorado, Arkansas.

 

He loved all sports. Willie took pleasure in the simple things that life offered and made friends easily. Willie passed on Thursday, March 21, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents, Louie & Marcelene Jones Elliott, and brother, Ronny Rece Elliott ( June 30, 1953 - September 24, 2020).

 

Willie leaves to cherish his memories with his son, Damion Stantley of Rogers, AR; five sisters, Florida Elliott, Carolyn (Minister Walter) Anderson, Kathy (Luther) Elliott,  Sandra (Elder Earl) Green, and Wanda Elliott all of Camden, AR; three grandchildren, Keiton of Camden, AR; Damiona of Stephens, AR; and Chynelle of Rogers, AR; two aunts, Judy Kaye of Camden, AR and Evelyn Bradley of Buffalo, NY; one uncle, Roy Elliott, Sr. of Little Rock, AR; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Friday, March 29, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home Van Buren. Services will be held graveside 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 30, 2024, at Patton Cemetery, with Rev. Walter Anderson, eulogist.
