Willie Ancil Green, 61, of McCrory, Arkansas, passed away January 27, 2026, at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro, Arkansas.

Born October 6, 1964, in Van Buren, Arkansas, Willie shared 40 years of marriage to his beloved wife, Deborah Kay Green. They raised two sons, Justin (Nikki) Green of Quitman and Brian (Lacy) Green of Paragould. He cherished his grandchildren: Braelyn Martin, Blayke Parish, Blayne Parish, Brylee Blackwell, Alyssa Green, Daylan Green, Kaydence Green, Brynn Green, and Gannon Green. Survivors also include his siblings, Theresa Jones, Kenny (Melanie) Green, and Zachary (Miranda) Green.

Affectionately known as "Pops," Willie served in the National Guard, completing two tours overseas in Kuwait and Egypt. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing ball, golfing, weekend road trips with family, telling jokes, watching westerns, and watching his grandchildren play sports. He never met a stranger and was known for his contagious laugh, quick wit, competitive personality, and free spirit, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew him.

Willie's life was defined by love, laughter, and devotion to his family and friends. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know and love him.

He was preceded in death by: his parents, Ancil and Peggy Green.

Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, January 29, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Morton Baptist Church in Morton, Arkansas with Brother Greg DeWitt, Brother Bobby Keen, and Brother Don Jones officiating. Visitation will be held prior to services from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow services at Pumpkin Bend Cemetery in Pumpkin Bend, Arkansas.
