It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Willie Delores Harper, aged 84, on September 3, 2025. She departed this life peacefully, surrounded by her loving family. Willie Delores Harper was born May 3, 1941 to George Harper and Nellie Gardner Harper in Perthshire, Mississippi. Willie, known to many as "Bill" attended her early childhood education in Perthshire, Mississippi. She accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized under Thomas Bronner of New Bethal Missionary Baptist church. She moved to Saint Louis, MO in 1966. She worked at the Marriott Hotel for 35+ years and retired. After retirement, she began working part time in the healthcare industry.

Bill was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, daughter, sister, niece, cousin and friend. She was known for her love of music and she was always the life of the party because she loved to dance. She also enjoyed cooking for her family and never cooked small dinners; there was always enough food for others. She was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her journey on this earth was one marked by love, compassion, and unwavering faith in God. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering spirit will forever remain in our hearts.

Bill was proceeded in death by her husband, Harold Primus; her parents, George and Nellie Harper; her grandson, Ryan Washington; and her sisters, Nellie, Rosetta, Katherine, Carrie, Mary and Georgia Mae.

Bill leaves to cherish her memories; three sons, Johnny Lee Harper, Willie James Harper, and Homer Jerome Harper (Rochelle). She also leaves to cherish her memories; five grandchildren, Sharon (Joshua Sr.), Harrison, Jonathan, Arron (Thomasina), and Eboni; six great grandchildren, Joshua Jr., Tashion, Aariona, Arron Jr, Ayden and LeAnthony Jr; one brother, Harry Harper; two sisters, Ersie B. Scott, and Betty Jo Harper; and "truck loads" of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
