Willie Mae Allen entered eternal rest on Friday March 21, 2025, at the age of 69. She was a native of St Joseph, LA and a resident of Marrero, LA. Willie Mae was a graduate of Davidson High School in St. Joseph, LA, and Our Lady of Holy Cross College. Willie Mae was a retired schoolteacher with the Jefferson Parish School System. Beloved wife of John A. Allen, Sr. Devoted mother of John A. Allen, Jr., James A Allen, Jessica A. Allen, and Johusa A. Allen. Daughter of the late Mark J. Mason and Mary B. Mason. Granddaughter of the late Percy Mason and Mollie Johnson. Sister of Eddie Mason, Reginald Mason, Robert Mason, Nathaniel Mason, Thomas Mason, Henry Mason, Eurnestine Mason, Mollie Shields, Jimmie Mason, Jarry Mason, Gloria Mason, and the late Mark Mason, Percy Mason, Willie Mason, and Clarence Burks, also survived by 14 grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastors, officers, and members of Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, and neighboring churches are invited to a Celebration of Life at Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church, 1419 4th St. Westwego, LA on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. Pastor Woodrow Hayden officiating Visitation will begin at 8:30 a.m. at the church.
