The Funeral Service for Mr. Willie (Bruh) Neal of Montezuma, Georgia will be held on Friday, January 31, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Little Poplar Spring Baptist Church in Byromville, Georgia with Reverend Alfred Wynn officiating.
Mr. Willie B. Neal was born December 5, 1937 in Montezuma, Georgia. He was the son of the late Mr. Ramsey Neal Jr. and the late Mrs. Lillie Pearl Oliver Neal.
He attended the Macon County Public School System during his early years and completed his education in the New York Public School System. After completing high school, Mr. Neal joined the United States Air Force. He later became the business owner of Southside Auto Sales. Later, he returned home and was a self-employed mechanic. His love for people and cars provided the perfect opportunity for him to meet and enjoy many people over the years.
Mr. Neal was a devoted member of Magnolia Baptist Church, and in later years he faithfully attended Zion Hill Baptist Church.
He departed this life on January 24, 2025, at his home. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Jeanette Neal West, his brother, Clovis V. Neal, and his son, Alvin "Curtis" Law.
Mr. Neal leaves to cherish his memory: a son, Willie Bernard Reese of Montezuma, Georgia; two daughters: Angela M. Crittendon and Judy Smith (Jeff) both of Oglethorpe, Georgia; seven grandchildren: Tara N. Miller of Jonesboro, Georgia, Latasha Terry (Torrence) of Ellenwood, Georgia, Shanda Pettway (Printis) of Fayettville, Georgia, Karla M. Crumpton (Bobby) of Bonaire, Georgia; Jameco (Curtey) Law (Crystal) of Atlanta, Georgia, Kortnee Smith of Ellenwood, Georgia, and Darius Smith (Tionna) of Atlanta, Georgia; twenty great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; one nephew, Clovis Neal of Odessa, Florida; one niece, Holly N. Moreau of Miramar, Florida; one sister-in-law, Martha G. Neal of Tampa, Florida; a host of special cousins, other relatives and friends.
