Willie James O'Neal, Jr. (also known as Junebug and Jinx) entered his eternal rest on Friday, September 16, 2022. He was born of July 3, 1943 to the late Willie James O'Neal, Sr. and Aurelia Andrews in Navassa, NC. He later moved to Newark, NJ where he met and married Thomasene Richardson on November 26, 1966. He retired from Stanson Corporation (formerly known as Howland Chemical Products) in 2008 with over 30 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Thomasene O'Neal; brother, Harold (Nate)Andrews; sisters, Charlene O'Neal, and Jacqueline O'Neal. He leaves to cherish his memory, three children ~ Giana O'Neal (Earl), James O'Neal (Erika), and Marvin O'Neal (Ebony); seven grandchildren ~ Symone' Bingham (Ryan), Brittany Fleming,, Tamarah Thomas, Marquel (Duke) O'Neal, Diondre Johnson, Jalen O'Neal, and Alad O'Neal; five great-grandchildren ~ Gabriel Bingham, Alanah Bingham, Za'Nyah Dunn, Na'Zyah Scott and Quadir O'Neal; brothers ~ Joseph Andrews, Jerome Andrews, Darryl Andrews, Dennis O'Neal, Johnathan O'Neal, (Yolanda) Muneer Muhammad; brother-in-laws ~ Rev. Dr. Fred Burrell and Ollie Burrell; sisters ~ Diane Andrews, Sylvia Andrews, Patricia Patrick (Terry), Barbara Taylor, Vernice O'Neal; sister-in-law ~ Rose Estice; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
