Funeral services for Willie Mae Richardson, age 76, who died on Thursday, December 21, 2023, will be held on Sunday, December 24, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. from the Richardson Funeral Home Chapel in Louisburg with Rev. Al Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Bethel Church Cemetery.
She is survived by six sisters, Juanita Richardson of Warrenton, NC, Yvonne M. Richardson of Hollister, NC, Linda Hedgepeth (Quinton) of Nashville, NC, Tabitha Cooper of Warrenton, NC, Glenda Silver and Prenesia Anstead, both of Hollister, NC; three brothers, Rev. Al Cooper (Evelyn) and Glenn Cooper, both of Warrenton, NC and Wilton Evans (Mary) of Hollister, NC.
There will be a viewing on Sunday afternoon from 12:00 until 1:00 p.m. at Richardson Funeral Home in Louisburg.

My condolences for the loss of the sweetest person!
Willie Mae and I played together as children. I have a special memory of us swinging together from a tree swing at Aunt Bell's house when I was about 10 and she was 11. She stood on the swing behind me and I sat on the slat. She would swing us so high that we could be lined up literally, with the lime where the swing was attached. I always felt safe with Willie Mae. She was so strong and brave!
Goodbye sweet cousin! RIP.
