Mr. Willie James "Bill" Riggans

Mr. Willie James Riggans, "Bill", was born on September 30, 1961 to Willie and Estelle Riggans in Alexander City, AL.
He was preceded in death by his loving mother, Estelle Riggans, one brother Anthony Riggans, his grandparents Rev. Samuel and Susie Huntley Sr., and Alex and Essie Riggins.
On Monday January 6, 2025, Willie peacefully transitioned at UAB Hospital surrounded with the love of his family.

Riggans; Three brothers: Michael (Georgette) Riggans of Gainesville, GA, Cordell Riggans of Alexander City, AL, and Terrence (Alicia) Riggans of Nashville, TN; Two sisters Cynthia Jackson and Cassandra Riggans both of Alexander City, AL; Four sisters-in-law: Benessa Riggans of Talladega, AL, Glenda Woody of Birmingham, AL, Arvetta (Rev. Michael) Strong of Goodwater, AL, and Lorna (Rodney) Allen of Montgomery, AL; Six brothers-in-law: Thomas McKinney of Sylacauga, AL, M.L. (Mary) McElrath Jr. of Eclectic, AL,
Wade (Bertha) McElrath of Goodwater, AL, Memphis (Lisa) McElrath of Kellyton, AL, Wayne McElrath of Kellyton, AL, and Ray McElrath of Arizona; Five grandchildren: Imani (Lester) Mungro, Madison Robertson, Kyle Ball, Ayanna Henderson, and Miranda Stamps; Two great grandchildren Leah Mungro and Lester Mungro IIIII; Two special friends Jerry Hawkins and Reginald Johnson both of Alexander City, AL; A host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends that loved and cared for him dearly.
