Mr. Jordan went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 18, 2026. He was born on August 4, 1949 in Alexander City, Alabama to Dr. Warren Alton Jordan, Jr. and Annie Ruth Dunn Jordan.

Mike was a cherished fixture at Radney Funeral Home, serving the community with grace and understanding. With each family he assisted, he brought comfort in times of grief, a testament to his deep empathy and unwavering spirit of service. His work was far more than a job; it was a calling that he fulfilled with devotion and dignity.

A devout Christian, Mike's faith illuminated his path in life. He was an active member of the First Baptist Church Alexander City, where his presence was both a cornerstone of stability and a fount of enthusiasm. Mike's beliefs were his guiding light, reflected in his everyday actions and the love he shared with those around him.

An ardent traveler, Mike relished the opportunity to explore new horizons and embrace the adventures that came with it, especially his love for cruises, where the vast oceans mirrored his deep and abiding love for life. His joy was equally evident whether he was casting a line into a still lake, fervently supporting the Auburn University sports teams, or enjoying a leisurely round of golf. His leisure time spent at the beach was a source of peace and reflection for Mike.

With an infectious warmth and an ever-ready conversation, Mike never met a stranger, effortlessly turning moments of chance into lifelong friendships. His generous nature was legendary; he was a man who gave selflessly, always available to lend a hand to those in need.

Mike's legacy is one of genuine compassion, boundless generosity, and unwavering faith. He lived his life as a beacon of God's love, touching hearts and uplifting spirits. Now, as he enters the Kingdom of Heaven, those who knew him are comforted by the thought that Mike is at peace and free of pain. His legacy of love and service will forever be etched in the memories of those he touched.

As we bid farewell to Mr. Michael Dunn Jordan, we celebrate a life beautifully lived and a journey gloriously completed. We find solace knowing Mike now rests in the loving embrace of our Creator, leaving behind a trail of light for us to follow until we meet again.
