Graveside Service for Amanda B. Mann, 73, of Alexander City, will be Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at 2:00 pm at the Hillview Memorial Park. Randy Anderson will officiate. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm at Radney Funeral Home.

Amanda Mann passed away on Friday, February 13, 2026, at East Alabama Medical Center. She was born on August 13, 1952, in Alexander City, Alabama to James Miles Blankenship and Magdalene Green Blankenship.

Amanda B. Mann, a beacon of love and generosity, passed away surrounded by the warmth of her family's love. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness and selflessness that will continue to inspire all who knew her. Amanda's life was a testament to the power of giving, and her memory will be cherished forever.

Amanda is survived by her devoted husband of 59 years, Michael W. Mann, who stood by her side in every chapter of their journey together. She was a loving mother to her daughter, Stacey-Leigh (Patrick) Wade, and her son, Michael J. Mann. Her role as a grandmother was one she cherished deeply, and she will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren, Kayla (Taylor) Matchen, Toliver Matchen, Christopher (Nina) Wade, and Caelan Wade. Amanda's sister, Susan Hamlet, and brother, Timothy Blankenship, along with her sister-in-law, Maria Blankenship, will hold dear the memories of their times together. Amanda was also a beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews, each of whom she loved dearly. Her unique bond with her "special chocolate daughter," Dichelle (Larry) Leonard, added a special sweetness to her life.

Amanda was preceded in death by her parents, her brother James Melvin Blankenship, sister Nelda Faye Blankenship, brother-in-law Elvin Hamlett, and sister-in-law Norma Blankenship. Though they left this world before her, their influence on her life was profound and lasting.

Professionally, Amanda was respected for her dedication to safety and security. Her career in loss prevention was marked by her commitment to protecting others, a true reflection of her caring nature.

Beyond her professional life, Amanda found joy in the simple pleasures. She was an avid gardener, nurturing beautiful flowers that brought color and life to her surroundings. Her annual trips with her sister to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, were cherished traditions filled with laughter and companionship. Time spent with her grandchildren was among her most precious moments. Cooking for her family and friends was another way Amanda expressed her love, with each dish a testament to her generosity. Her passion for the live African Safari Game Drive on her computer revealed her adventurous spirit and love for the natural world.

Those who knew Amanda would describe her as loving, generous, and selfless. She gave of herself without expectation, touching the lives of many with her kindness. In every role she played-whether as a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, or friend-Amanda B. Mann exemplified the virtues of compassion and caring.
