Mr. Willie Will Wilburn Jr. age 69 of Mt. Airy, NC husband of Mrs. Donna Tolbert Wilburn passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born August 23, 1955 Cleveland, Ohio to the late Willie Will Wilburn, Sr and Elizabeth Heath Wilburn. He was retired from the North Carolina Highway Patrol with 25 years of service and also worked at the Mt. Airy Police Department for 4 years. He attended Bannertown Baptist Church and Flat Rock Baptist Church . Surviving is his loving wife of 50 years, Donna Tolbert Wilburn, two daughters and sons-in-laws, Aubree Scotto Di Perta and Giovanni, Michelle Jordan and Barrett, a son and daughter-in-law, Heath Wilburn and Kayla, grandchildren, Kelsey Beck, Averie Lovill, Ella Mae Lovill , Ridge Wilburn and Forest Wilburn, sisters and brothers-in-law, Barbara Reece and Billy, Brenda Ayers, Frankie Lane and Michael, Ellen Sechrist and Stanley. and a brother, David Wilburn. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Tuesday, September 10, 2024 at Bannertown Baptist Church. The service will be conducted by Rev. Howard Wilburn, Rev. Rusty Reed and Rev. Mickey Cogdill. Burial will follow at Skyline Memory Gardens with honors provided by the North Carolina Highway Patrol Honor Guard. The family will receive friends 6-8:00 PM Monday at Bannertown Baptist Church.
