Willie Williams

Willie Williams, age 89, of Erie, PA, died Saturday, August 20, 2022 at UPMC Hamot Hospital. He was born in Luray, VA on December 14, 1932 to the late Willie Williams Sr. and Dorothy Carter Williams.
Willie retired from Hayes Manufacturing; following retirement, he worked at the Twenty Grand Bar and Restaurant. Willie had a great sense of humor, and loved to tell jokes. There was never a dull moment when he was around. He was loved by most everyone, those who didn t love him, liked him.
Willie truly loved his family. He is survived by his wife Inez (Queenie) Williams, in that union they had four children, Debra Sansom, James, Willie, and Vincent Williams (Sherri). He is further survived by Roxanne Stoval (Tommie Darrell), Michael Jordan (Mary), Anthony Jordan, Dandre, Darius, Cashawn and Jamie Hilliard and Shikira Jones. Willie is survived by his seven sisters, and one brother. Frances Moyer, Carl Williams, Viola Pearson, Catherine Drew, Evangelist Helen Stapp (Pastor James Stapp Jr.) and Betty Williams, all of Erie, PA, Dorothy Johnson and Elder Peggy Brooks (Willie) of Luray, VA. He is survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Willie is preceded in death by five sisters, Ruth Ann Williams, Mildred Jean Williams, Barbara Rieves, Dora Jane Goins, and Janes Burton. He is preceded by his brothers, James Stewart and Clyde Williams.

Friends are invited to call on the family Monday, August 29, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 12:00 Noon at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Service Inc. Downtown, 602 West 10th Street, Erie. The family requests that masks be worn for visitation and the funeral service. Interment will follow in Erie Cemetery.
